Meet Christine Medrano

Christine Medrano is a Customer Success Team Lead at Newsela, where she leads a team of specialists helping districts get the most from their partnership from onboarding through renewal. Christine began her career through Teach For America and taught second grade for five years, earning District Teacher of the Year and being named an Apple Distinguished Educator in 2019. She later joined Apple as a Senior Professional Learning Specialist, where she partnered with over 100 campus leadership teams to design customized, standards-aligned learning experiences. Passionate about promoting the purposeful use of technology to enrich learning, Christine holds a Master’s in Education from Johns Hopkins University. She lives in Dallas, TX with her fiancé and three dogs.
