Meet Sarah-Anne Schicker:
As a Customer Success Specialist with Newsela, Sarah-Anne Schicker brings 12 years of experience in education to her role. Having spent eight years teaching grades 2–8 and four years in school administration, she holds a comprehensive understanding of instructional and systemic challenges. She relied on Newsela throughout her classroom career to support educational equity and ensure content accessibility for all students. Today, this practice guides her daily work in supporting all educators, from the classroom to the school board. Sarah-Anne graduated from Arizona State University and was a member of the 2014 TNTP Nashville Educators cohort, with a teaching career spanning Arizona and Tennessee. She now resides in Seattle with her dogs, Bowie and Willow.
