Stacy Filocco

Stacy Filocco brings 15 years of experience in education and curriculum development to her work at Newsela. With a focus on student outcomes, Stacy developed her expertise in the classroom teaching high school students for 14 years across multiple disciplines and within urban, rural, resourced, and under-resourced settings throughout the Southeast. With a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction, she has experience with every facet of student assessment from classroom implementation to district rollout to actual creation and scoring of assessments.
