Hemalatha Bhaskaran

Hemalatha (Hema) is driven by a passion for providing meaningful educational experiences and is committed to equipping students with the scientific literacy skills needed to thrive in an ever-changing world. Hema has received numerous accolades for her dedication and excellence in science education. She was honored as the Chesapeake Bay Trust Environmental Teacher of the Year and received the prestigious Presidential Award for Excellence in Science Teaching in 2019. She was also recognized as Wicomico County Teacher of the Year for 2020-2021.
