Alyssa Lipuma

Alyssa Lipuma joined the Newsela professional learning team in 2022. She is a former elementary teacher from Chicago, with experience teaching in the upper elementary grades.

Alyssa is a graduate of the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, and has a M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction from Olivet Nazarene University. As a Professional Learning Manager, Alyssa is responsible for creating and delivering training sessions that align with district goals and build user confidence in facilitating engaging, differentiated learning experiences for students.
